Why hire a voice actor?

Everyone can tell a story. We tell stories to our family, friends, and strangers. Hell, we tell ourselves stories. It’s fun to hear someone’s story and even our own. The feeling you get when you share your story may be different each time you tell it and depending on who you share it with. And, when you hear someone else’s story; how it’s told is going to effect how you feel about it. And if a story doesn’t have words, sometimes spoken word can breath life into it. Sometimes it can take away. And, there are times when stories don’t need words.  

The words in a script aren’t just words, floating ideas, or passing thoughts. They’re emotions, moods, and sometimes entire characters! When I go into a  project, there’s a process to understand what it is I’m reading and capture whatever it is that’s being conveyed. It’s a craft that requires training, practice, and hard work and I’m always trying to improve upon it. It’s crazy, fun, and I love it!
